| Branch trimmer loves his inverter!Hi,
On my two acre property, there are trees galore of all kinds: White Oaks, Red Oaks, Red Cedar, Spruce, Pines, etc. I try to keep it fairly clean and some people comment it looks like a park. One of the tree problems are, they have low branches, obstructing views, scraping the tops or even sides of vehicles on the 600 foot driveway.
I had bought some tine ago a small electric chainsaw on a long stick. The chainsaw runs on 115 Volt, does a nice job but a long extension cords does not work out well.
The problem of supplying the 115 Volts was easily solved with the use of a 1250 converter. I just commandeered my lawn tractor into service, using its 12 Volt battery and charging system as a power source. With this combination, I simply drive to the trees with offending low hanging branches and trim them.
