| Boater fires up his hot water heater & refrigerators!I purchased the Aims 5000 watt inverter. It has done everything we could ever ask. I have installed it in a 34 foot Sea Ray cruiser. We took (4) 6 volt batteries and wired pairs in series then parralled the two series to get a lot of 12 volt juice. We also upgraded the alternator to 150 amp unit. We are able to run the air conditioning and house bank of power which consists of two refrigerators, a hot water heater, as well as multiple outlets. Total DC load is about 300 amps. We could not have asked for a better product and the help desk has answered many questions to our satisfaction.
