| Master Captain teaches others during hurricane storm!I own a 1250 Watt inverter and I live in south Florida, Ft. Lauderdale area. I gave my Aims 1250 inverter to my friends that had damage and loss of power to their homes in Palm Beach Florida after Hurricane Frances.
With the 1250 watt inverter, three families were able to survive BETTER until commercial power was restored 8 days later. These individuals were able to make coffee, run small fans, lamps, and even operate a microwave oven.
I have opened their eyes to the world of power inverters that they never heard of or knew existed until big trouble hit them in the face.
I had purchased the 1250 inverter to supplement my power needs aboard my 31 foot cruiser. I am able to operate my galley and ice maker, and portable T.V. satellite system without starting my generator while underway. Much more convenient and with the cost of fuel, not running a generator is a plus.
