We've probably bought 200 of these in one form or another over the past 10 years or so for our service trucks. They work great, we put them in and forget about them.
I use my Aims 5000 watt inversor to give power at the flea market. We have lights and music and it really brings people
We had trouble with refrigerators till we bought this Aims 5000 Watt. All other inverters I looked at have a hard start...they give full wattage (on that leg, which is about 1/3 of the total wattage it is rated at) for a short, defined length...The Aims has a soft start, it will hang in much longer to start a compressor. It also has (notice the square on the bottom corner with the 3 wires into it) a panel you can hook into and get the FULL 5000 watts to that leg...since buying this one we have not had any problems with our electrical equipment...fridge, printer, computer, etc...it is NOT a true sine inverter, they have them but are expensive...Oh, it also powers my electric chain-saw on a 100ft cord when I need to cut large dunnage, like ac from a shop plug...gp
I'm not sure why there aren't many reviews for this inverter, our fleet buys many of these every month. Nobody writes reviews (good) for inverters I guess. We use these all the time and this 5000 watt inverter go in every truck we outfit. They work great and the price is reasonable. We never have issues besides when our guys forget to turn them off.
