I wanted to let you know at Inverters R Us that the Aims power inverter I purchased was a good move for me. After researching on the net and talking to friends, I concluded that your Aims modified 2500 watt inverter was the right fit for the many uses we had in mind.
The inverter was installed this summer and it is working great. I run a three battery system on our 35 foot Pearson sailboat. Installing the inverter was not difficult with easy to read instructions. In addition,
I called and talked to a staff member and all my questions were answered properly to my satisfaction.
Now we can use the toaster oven, hair dryer, electric tooth brush and power tools when we are offshore or at anchor. We had an older model alcohol oven and it was difficult preparing meals and baked items. Since the new inverter has been installed...our baked items have no limits in the toaster oven powered by the inverter. I also installed a generator to maintain the batteries at full charge.
This winter we are taking our sailboat, from where we store it at Ft. Myers Beach, to Key West, Marathon and then to the Bahamas. My wife and I know we are going to use the inverter for all our offshore electrical needs this winter. We also know the cooked meals will improve a great deal with the addition of this inverter. We will write you again in the spring to let you know how it performed under harsh sea demands.
