Aims inverters are irreplaceable tools for service vans!
We are currently using the 1250 Watt Aims power inverter in two of our electrical contractor service vans. They have proven to be irreplaceable tools for use in our business. They are used on a daily basis to provide A/C power for charging cordless tool batteries and to power all of our corded tools as well. They will operate our large drill motors, band saws, work lights, pipe traders, circular saws, hammer drills and even small air compressors.
We have (1) additional battery in each van that is isolated from the vehicle battery and charged through an RV type battery isolator. Whenever we need to use them for extended periods of time we start the engines and just let them idle.
We once had to use one to supply power for a customer’s basement circuit which included lighting, phones and two computers while we changed the electrical panel on their house. It worked flawlessly, it allowed our customer to stay online and keep their home based Internet business up and operating for over five hours! They were thrilled that we could do this for them and it saved them hundreds of dollars in down time.
These inverters have become an invaluable part of our service based business. As we grow and purchase additional service vans we will most certainly be purchasing additional Aims power inverters for each one of them.
