| Inverter in Voltswagon Bus Saves the Day!I have a 400 watt inverter mounted in my 1974 Volkswagen Westfalia camper van, and enjoy it immensely! I find it's plenty to power handy small devices while camping, like CD players and a small hot plate. I run it from a single deep cycle marine battery, which seems to provide plenty of oomph for all the times I've used it?
Last summer I broke down in Butte, Montana (I know, I know - a Volkswagen van break down?? Shocking!) and it was a lifesaver while I was camped nearly a week waiting for parts to be mailed to me!
On the plus side I got to see a lot of Butte and learn a lot about the history of the town, and everyone I met was very friendly and helpful!
AND...I would SO SO SO love a 2500 watt inverter! SO much! Honestly! More than anything you could imagine - I'd use it every day!
